Just a little post to start things off...

Hi, my name is Palmer. And here I am starting this blog. I've never written a blog before- which is probably obvious because why would I want more than one blog? That would just take too much time. I'm actually having trouble writing this because of all the distractions. The light in my room won't work, so I'm sitting in my dad's Lazyboy in our living room. My headphones are out in my sisters car and as I'm writing this it is currently almost midnight. And everyone knows that no one wants to go outside to get something from the car after 10:30pm, because it's just creepy. My little brothers decided that now was a good time to watch one of those weird spin-off cartoons from movies that they play on Nickelodeon, which I'm 90% sure are made just to lower your I.Q. What happened to the ole' good days of kids TV shows? The ones that actually taught you relevant things about life? Not this weird stuff with wayyyy too much burping. #rantover. Anyway, despite all the distractions I am writing this. On this blog I hope to have many different things. All my life I've had a passion for three things. (Well I've had passions for more than three things obviously. Like Oreo ice cream and  also cheese dip, despite being slightly lactose intolerant. That is real passion and dedication, because trust me it isn't pretty.) But back to my main three passions. 
1. Music:
I don't think that there has ever been a time that I didn't love music. Whether it was listening, or writing songs. I have always loved it. Unfortunately God did not bless me with a great singing voice. I love finding new songs or artists. I have the most random mix of music on my phone. Because it doesn't matter what style it is, if the words capture me then I love it. I love words. 
2. Movies:
Now who doesn't like a good movie? If you say you don't, then you're lying. Or you just haven't watched the right movies. When I was little I used to write scripts from fairytales, or bible stories and literally force my brothers to be in them with me. I would get the costumes and the props in order. My brothers would memorize their lines and we'd put on a little production for my parents. I even was involved in my local theatre. Now, going back to me not having a great singing voice. My local theatre like most, usually does just musicals. Which is a problem for a girl who wants to act but can't sing. So I'm not as involved there as I wish I could be. 
3. Writing:
Here it is, my #1 passion, before any other thing that I enjoy doing. Ever since I learned how to write I was doing it. I don't even remember a day that has passed that I wasn't thinking about a story idea or writing down potential names for characters in my book. I love it. In fact, when I was younger and would get in trouble my parents used to threaten me saying they would "take my writing away" which I thought was completely ridiculous, because how can you take away something that I make up in my head anyway? Needless to say, that never happened. Anyway, I've written a few novels, some childrens books. Like I already said, numerous songs. And just recently I've tried my hand at writing screenplays. Which I've realized that I absolutely LOVE. I have hopes of making a career as a writer. 
Well, with all of this said, in this blog I hope to share with you my passions. With music reviews and maybe a few of my own song lyrics, and some short stories, and I'm sure many other things. I look forward to this new journey.
